Looking through the challenge statements I wrote last week, I’ve realized there is a large variety of statements. Some are broad and some are specific. Most of the feedback revolved around combining some of the statements. There are many intersections between smartphone addiction and healthy lifestyle. These statements focus on: access to chronic health concerns exacerbated by smartphone addiction, lack of communication with families and friends, and mental illness.
1. What might happen if youths have improved access to a new public space. Can addressing these communication concerns aid in the mitigation of the root causes of smartphone addiction?
2. What might happen if youths have access to a new community that provide a space for these youths to have face-to-face conversation with their real friends and families, while also tackling the root causes of smartphone addiction, which is paired with an initiative that increases access to mental illness.
3. What might happen if youths have access to a sustainable health lifestyle and new economy system, that has the opportunity to yield substantial health benefits, such as direct benefits to mental health care systems and indirect benefits from reducing negative social impacts?
